hair veil

It doesn't get easier than this:
Start with your 3 sections in the front
Split the middle in half & combine with each of the 2 sides. DON'T add any other hair, you only want the ponies.
Bring them together in the middle . & that's it!!!
Just showing you don't add hair except the ponies. It tends to be a little loose & wants to lift off the head a little.
So I added a bow that has the alligator clip to hold it down. I included some of the hair that was down so it would stay down better. Then I curled just the top layer of hair.
Simple, right? Here's the front

worm twists

Part the hair in half. Add your elastic at the bottom & then add the next section.
Then grab the bottom piece & twist it & keep twisting until it starts to twist on it's own & add it to the top by just adding an elastic on the second pony.
Do the same thing all the way up. I did 3 elastics BEFORE I criss crossed them to make the piggies.
With the piggy tail - do the same twist all the way until it twists into a ball.
Add an elastic to hold it in place. Spray to hold.

zig-zag braids

This might look a lot more complicating than what it really is. It's actually quite easy. All you have to be able to do is know how to do a regular braid.
First, make 3 piggies on each side.
I started with the top right & braided it.
Take it across, over to the top left. Add your elastic.
Braid the top left & cross it down to the middle right, add your elastic. Then braid that & cross it over to the middle left. See the pattern - you are making a zig-zag pattern. But stop there.
Now, go to your bottom left & braid that.
Cross it over to the bottom right & add your elastic.
Braid that & add it to the middle left so that the zig - zags meet in the middle to make a side pony tail.
Curl the pony & add your cute bow. That's it. Not too complicating, right?

Tuesday, 28 October 2008

Does the bow look TOO big? Maybe - but it's too cute not to wear.
First, I divided the hair in half & put elastics only in one half. Then bring it all into a pony, only the ponies from that half. With the other half, I brought up all the hair in that section.
Make your bun (sorry kinda blurry)
Blow dry the hair straight & add your big bow!! That's it!! It was really fast today.

french braid tutorial...finally!!

Hooray!! It finally worked. I tried showing this the best I could, but it would have taken forever if I went all the way down. Let me know if you need a better explanation - I'm just excited this finally posted:) I forgot to show this: usually when I'm done with the braid, I smooth the hair with the comb to smooth out all the bumps, then spray it with hairspray.
