Aren't these all SO cute...

Over at EVERY LITTLE DETAIL (click on it)they are doing a spring savings. It's her 28th birthday so they're offering 28% off!! It's beginning Thursday, April 30th, at 12:00am MST and lasting until 11:59 MST. The coupon code is BirthdayGirl. So head over there because all of their stuff is DARLING!! Here's a few things from EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. Make sure you check it out though because there is a lot more than just these headbands:

I understand this picture is flipped - I'm just to lazy to reload it:) If anyone knows a way that I can flip it after it's been uploaded to my blog I would love the help!

So these headbands are ADJUSTABLE!! There's lot of colors & darling! My little girl LOVES them & wants to wear them every day now. & it's fun because you add the flower clip to it where ever you want it. By the end of this day, she had the clip back up top. So FUN!
These are just so clever! They are BOBBY PINS that actually are cute. But not only are they really cute, they are really STRONG!
When you have your girlie's hair down & want to keep the bangs out of the face without having the bobby pin fall out or just looking ugly - this is such a simple solution! LOVE it. This is my favorite.
I don't know why she won't ever look normal at the camera - but here's the set in together. Are they not so CUTE?
There's so many ways you can use them. You could also use them when your girlies hair is up in a pony tail & she's got those straggling, loose hairs that just keep falling down - this would be perfect. & I'm telling you, they're seriously a STRONG hold. & you can add the bobby pins in so the bobby pin actually doesn't show, just the FLOWER
Okay - here's another option how to wear the head band. The picture I had of her full on was flipped so this is the best I got. But you can wear it like your normal head band, with the hair down & add that darling FLOWER clip to add detail.
EVERY LITTLE DETAIL not only has flowers to choose from but darling BOWS. This is a rag bow that we added & it's just too cute.

The headbands don't only fit little girls, but it fits ALL sizes!! Yep, that's me. haha!! I just wanted to be able to show that we can wear it too & I LOVE it. It's so fun. Wear it with or without a flower clip
Here it is with a flower clip added to it. Seriously - you guys all need to check this store out. & why not do it why she's having her spring savings event tomorrow!! Don't forget!!

an option for ribbon in the hair

I used a bobby pin because I was in a rush. But if I would have taken the time - I would have grabbed a safety pin & pinned it to the ribbon - which I recommend. If you are going to use a bobby pin like I have in this picture, just slide the ribbon thru & make sure that it's thru enough to not come out.
I pulled her hair up & curled it & then pinned it up, which is not very convenient for putting a bow into it. But I love the look of a bow, it always finishes her hair off. So I thought this would be a cute way of adding your bow: Start weaving with the bobby pin or safety pin.
Make your way all around the pony or what hair you have pulled up.

I started at the bottom so it finished at the bottom & met together. I tied the hair in a bow where you could see it hanging out of her hair. Try it next time you are having a hard time placing a bow in a pinned up do.

One of my cute friends from high school has a bow blog. They recently moved to London & she says that they don't love bows like we do over here. So she's up & doing her blog again. Check her blog out. It's http://kylaskreations.blogspot.com/ She sent me this today:

"I wanted to let you know that I will offer 50% off any (one-time) order that tells me they found my website through your blog."

So check it out if your looking for some darling bows & want a killer deal - especially since Christmas is so close! & don't forget to tell her you found her site through my blog to get your 50% off!

Monday's Do (pretty original - can't think of what to call this:)

So - once again, I have to show off these darling bows. For those of you who know me, know that I LOVE bows. These are super cute & SO easy to put together.
Pink & brown coordinating ribbon just cut into same length strips. Hot glued onto a clip & then do the middle like you normally would with a bow (tie in knot & hot glue down around sides)
I wanted to show you the back. If you look closely - you can see the clip with the middle part glued around.
Just another one. Pretty darn cute, right? See if you can make them yourself. This is the one I used in her hair today. It would also be cute if you made the strands smaller & so you could make 2 bows for pigtails.
Here she is with the darling bow in. If you scroll to the bottom of this post, there is a better picture with the bow in it.
Start by parting the hair down the middle. (it looks a little off because i didn't have the camera centered) Put 4 elastics in: 2 on each side of the middle part.
This is what it should look like. Don't mind my bright red shirt in the back ground.
Twist each of the pieces left over.
Put them into one elastic.

& of course, I can't leave her hair unless it's got curls in it. Also, here's the cute bow.

A braid with a twist

First, I have to show you all these darling bows. It is coordinating ribbon tied around a hair elastic. Pretty clever, right? Super easy to make.

I started by parting the hair off to the side & putting it into rubber band. This will go into the right side of the pony.
I LOVED to do this on her when she didn't very much hair & it was hard to keep her hair in a pony tail. It keeps all that under hair into the pony tail by the end of the day.

Part the hair down the middle, & pull the pig tail that you are not working on, out of the way. Part the side you are working on (the right in this case) & part it horizontally. I like to clip the top part up so it is out of my way. Smooth the lower part into a pony.
Add the lower part into the top to make a piggy tail. Do the same to the other side.

Braid the pony tail, but leave out a chunk of hair. After you have braided the hair, twist the chunk left out & twist it. Wrap it around the braid evenly until you are at the bottom.

This is what it should look like after you have wrapped the hair around the braid. Do it to the other side.

Flower clips

On my trip to Tai Pan yesterday, I didn't come out with what I went in for, but I did come out with darling flowers for clippies!! You can also buy some at Roberts or Michaels. These are SO easy & darling. If you have a baby girl, you could even just clip these on to the headbands. I always make 2 of everything, just so I have the option. You also will need: hair clips from Roberts, hot glue gun & a pencil. (if you want to add any other embellishments also. I used glitter, eyelets & ribbon)

Take the flower COMPLETELY apart, so it will lay more flat on the clip. hot glue each section back together so it will stay together. Clip the clippie onto a pencil. Hot glue the flower onto the clip & let it dry...and voila...beautiful flower clips!!

I sprayed the red & white flowers with gold glitter.

The middle of these flowers made them look too fake. I took it out when I took the flower apart & just hot glued the eyelets in it's place instead.
I had some pink paper flowers from my scrapbooking pile. I decided to just add them with the ric rac ribbon. Adde has lots of pink & green clothes so I thought it would be cute together.
